Stad an slad!

The most recent budget cuts have had a devastating impact on communities across the north, coming at a time when so many people are already struggling to keep their head above water. The impact has been particularly felt within the Irish language community, where cuts to vital Irish language services have threatened the future of the organisations working tirelessly to provide them.

Any reduction in the already limited, yet vital Irish language services would be catastrophic for the development of the burgeoning Irish language community and undermine the organic, bottom-up revival that is the subject of international acclaim.

We stand with those groups whose funding is in jeopardy and we are determined to support them in their campaign to #StadAnSlad (Stop the Cuts). We ask that you do the same by filling in your details below, so that an automated email be sent to the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Education, Mark Browne, urging him to urgently reconsider the proposed cuts to these vital services.

Cuidigh linn cuidiú leo - help us help them! Seas an Fód.
