Fergus is a musician, activist and former politician with the People’s Democracy. He is one of the founding members of Coláiste Feirste, the first Irish-medium secondary school in the north and went on to become the school’s first headteacher. Fergus is also one of the founding members of Raidió Fáilte, Belfast’s only Irish language radio station.
