A Belfast-based online retail business has secured distribution with one of Ireland’s leading retailers.

As Gaeilge was founded by 25-year-old Rachel Brady in 2021 after she immersed herself in learning the Irish language in her early 20s.

The company, which creates Irish language stationery, homeware, accessories and gifts, has been selected by Carrolls Irish Gifts as the winner of its ‘Fáilte’ initiative, which promotes Irish-designed and locally crafted products, following a rigorous selection process.

As Gaeilge will now showcase its extensive portfolio prominently in the 19 Carrolls Irish Gifts stores across the island of Ireland and online to over 40 countries worldwide as well as receiving valuable business mentoring as part of a comprehensive support package.
